Grape Barrel Program Spring 2017
Start wine making group and make wine from grape to glass this spring. We will be bringing in fresh wine grapes from the mountain vineyards of Chile in April/May. The class is in 4 sessions. The first session is the destemming, crushing and to start fermentation. About 2 weeks after, we meet for the pressing of the wine for the final fermentation. After a few months of racking, we come together to fill the barrel for its aging process for 3 to 6 months. The last session we celebrate with a bottling party and you take 2 cases of wine home for drinking or further aging. Limited to 10 (couples) members Price includes all 4 sessions, grapes and wine tasting at each session. New bottles and corks can be purchased or clean used bottles can be brought in. When wine is complete barrel will produce about 250 bottles. Custom labeling available. Limited barrel space. Sign up before April 25th.
